ANSWERED PRAYER!

Nanay, me (miriam) and John are the only people at home when the buzzer made a loud sound. And as I expected it was the missionaries (Sis. Stonick and a relief society from our branch) every week they are really patient in visiting us  and I am grateful for them. I opened the gate to let them in, at first Sis. Stonick ask me to lead the prayer and after I had prayed she started the teaching, while I was looking on her she suddenly ask me if the DVD player was working, I told her that "yes, it is", then she hand me the C.D. wishing it will play on our dvd player and guess what??? it played hahahaha.! thankful. as I was going to seat I looked at her and she ask me again if I can call John to go with us to watch the movie, with no more words I went up to talk to him, I saw him lying on the bed watching TV, I ask him if he wants to go with us because we're just going to watch movie, he think for a moment...he sits..he stands..and then go down.
          I followed him as he rush through the stairs, the he stopped again..I don't know what he was thinking about. I called him then he followed me, he sat beside Nanay and I sat next to the missionaries, I played the cd and it was about the restoration of the true church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I know it was hard for him in the first place to do the things which he has never done before, I laugh staring at him,because as always he was shy...


          then the video rolled.............................................................


after 15 mins. suddenly the light turns into darkness.. it was blackout.
good enough because the movie will also be finished in a minute or two.


the video was about the Prophet Joseph Smith on how he handled himself when he doesn't know what to believe and what church he must attend, when he read the Bible Joseph has been touched of one of the verse which says,


            "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." James 1:5

so then he ran through the woods and kneel on the place where he felt he should be. After the light appeared Heavenly Father told joseph..

           "Joseph, he is my beloved son,hear him"

I know that the spirit touches his heart so well,why did I say??? because he was asked to pray for our closing he never doubted to do so..Sis.Stonick gave him a pamphlet where is written on how to pray, he read it at first then we bow our head and he started to pray I was so happy that he had prayed, it was the first time I heard him pray for himself and for others.

SO HAPPY AND GRATEFUL!!!

you know what?after the missionaries leave the house, I told him that he prayed well, he told me that he never use the pamphlet while praying..

i was shocked :)!!! he did it!!

then this morning when we woke up, we read the BOOK OF MORMON together, and on Wednesday the missionaries will be back, he told them that he is ready to be taught about the GOSPEL..

I know Heavenly Father has a great plan for both of us..
I will keep enduring to the end!

praying for baptism!

una sa lahat gusto kong isulat ang blog kong ito para sa aking sarili..mmmm.bakit endure to the end ang title??kasi yun ang pinaka-mahirap gawing bagay para sa akin..tsk.! tulad nga ng nasabi ko hindi ako perpektong Latter-day Saint. super close ako sa wicked.. :( sa buhay ko ngayon alam ko napakahirap sa akin ang makapag-endure maraming balakid sa buhay and that's what makes it difficult. Pumili ako ng mga bagay na pagsisisihan ko sa huli,mahirap.promise. :( missionary work.! sometime sa buhay ko naging active ako sa gawaing yun para makatulong sa ibang tao pero na-realize ko na sa buhay ko ngayon sa sarili ko mismo hindi ko magawang turuan ang taong mahal ko about sa gospel. ilang beses ko na syang tinatanong kung gusto nya ba sumama sa simbahan para mag-simba pero ang sagot nya sa akin ay "hindi muna mahal, kasi di ko pa maintindihan sarili ko" at some point naiintindihan ko sya dahil mahirap para sa isang individual ang biglaang pag-coconvert sa isang relihiyon na hindi nya pa napag-aaralan. so one time umattend ako sa branch home evening na-meet ko ang isang friend ko na si Gio, recent r.m. sya nagtanong ako sa kanya kung ano ba sa tingin nya ang mga dapat kong gawin para makinig sya sa akin. at ganto ang sinabi nya "yam, siguro dapat kausapin mo sya or if may bibisita sa inyong missionary yayain mo syang makinig." it was very helpful to me. gusto ko syang gawin pero ganun pa rin nahihirapan pa rin akong kumbinsihin sya :( nalulungkot ako sa mga nangyayari.. last sunday aug.26,2012 bumisita ang mga missionary may mga iniwan silang pamphlet about sa word of wisdom at gospel ni jesus christ. sabi ni sis.stonick gamitin ko raw yun sa pagtuturo.alam ko na kaya ko naman syang tutruan,alam ko na andyan si Heavenly Father para gabayan ako sa mga magiging resulta ng mga gagawin ko. through prayers alam ko it will happen na one day makakasama ko na sya ulit mag-simba and the next thing is ready na sya para sa baptism :)
